For more than 20 years, now, I have made the Litigation Section of the Atlanta Bar a centerpiece of my Bar activities. You should too.
First, the Section does great work. Each year, we donate more than $30,000 to awesome causes like Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, The Summer Law Internship Program, the Atlanta Bar Foundation, the Atlanta Bar Police Scholarship Program, and more.
Second, the Section provides leadership training and opportunities to younger lawyers.
Third, the Section is a powerful resource. The Section boasts about 1000 members who collectively possess skills, experience, talent, education and knowledge that is quite possibly unmatched. For any lawyer, this is a powerful resource.
Fourth and no less important. It is fun. Each year, the Section offers great programming. The biggest part of that programming is the annual breakfast series. This year, the Theme is The Life of a Trial 2.0 – The Litigator’s Toolbox. We started the year with a breakfast attended by more than 100 attorneys, and an All-Star panel. The topic was writing to win. Click here for my Linkedin post with photo!
