Multimillion-Dollar Verdicts And Settlements

March 2024 – $66 Million Jury Verdict

The jury returned a verdict in excess of $66 million in favor of our client who was fraudulently induced to invest in restaurants. The amount included $65 million in punitive damages. The jury expressly found in this trial that the defendant acted with specific intent to cause harm. We argued to the jury that punitive damages in an amount sufficient to gather media attention might finally deter people from investing with the defendant.
