Our client invested in what turned out to be a scheme. The organizers of the scheme used detailed and very professional looking marketing materials to lure our client. When our client threatened suit, the organizers sued first alleging that our clients should be required to invest even more money in the scheme. Our clients answered and filed counterclaims. Ultimately, the Plaintiffs dismissed their claims and agreed to pay our clients $1 million to settle the counterclaims.
